We believe The Bible is the Word of God
We believe that the whole Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, is alone the only infallible, inspired Word of God, and that its authority is ultimate, final, and eternal. It cannot be added to, subtracted from, or superseded in any regard.
We believe in the Trinity
We believe that God is both One and Triune. We believe that there is only one God and that He is eternally existent in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe Jesus is the Son of God
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He was together with the Father and the Holy Spirit from the beginning, and through Him all things were made. We believe He left heaven and became incarnate by the Holy Spirit through the virgin Mary; that He lived a perfectly sinless life, he was crucified for the redemption of mankind, was raised to life on the third day and that he ascended to Heaven and is currently seated at the right hand of the Father until He returns to the earth.
We believe in the Person, fruit, gifts and move of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is God, the third person of the Trinity. He was active in the Old Testament and given to the Church in fullness at Pentecost. He empowers the saints for service and witness, convicts and converts man. He is comforter, counselor, helper, intercessor, advocate, and Spirit of Truth. The baptism of the Holy Spirit and Fire is a gift from God as promised by Jesus to all believers and is received subsequent to and distinct from the experience of New Birth. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is meant to empower the believer to be a witness of Jesus Christ by the preaching and demonstration of the Gospel. The fruit of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit are evidence of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. There is one initial baptism in water but there are many subsequent infillings of the Spirit. The ultimate purpose of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is so that believers may have power to be witnesses. We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit are distributed to every believer as He wills. We are to eagerly desire the gifts of the Spirit, especially prophesy. Love is the foundation for operating in the gifts of the Spirit. We believe in and encourage the move of the Spirit in a corporate church setting according to 1 Corinthians 14.
Sin
Sin was introduced into mankind through Adam, the first man. His sin enslaved the world and mankind to the power of the devil. All of mankind has sinned and the penalty is death/separation from God. Jesus Christ, God’s son, paid the penalty of sin to reconcile mankind to God. Everyone who repents and trusts in Jesus for forgiveness of sin is forgiven and free from the curse of sin and death (Romans 5:12-21, 6:23; Ephesians 2:1-5).
Salvation
Salvation is a free gift that comes from God through belief in Jesus’ finished work on the cross and His resurrection from the dead. Salvation is freedom from the power of sin & death for body, soul, & spirit (Romans 1:16; Ephesians 2:8-9).
Water Baptism
Baptism in water, by full immersion, is a direct commandment of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is for all believers. This holy sacrament identifies the believer with Jesus in His death, burial and resurrection (Matthew 28:19; Acts 10:47-48; Romans 6:4; Acts 20:21; Hebrews 10:22).
Communion
The ordinance of Communion is also a commandment of the Lord Jesus that must be received consistently until His return. Only believers can come to the Table of the Lord, which consists of the bread and the cup. The bread – His body, which was broken for us. The cup – His blood that was shed for us. Both elements are witnesses of the New Covenant believers now enjoy while prophetically declaring His soon return (2 Peter 1:4; 1 Corinthians 11:26).
Sanctification
The Scripture teaches that without holiness no man can see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14). We believe in the Doctrine of Sanctification as a definite, yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of regeneration and continuing until the consummation of salvation at Christ’s return. (I Thessalonians 5:23; 1 Corinthians 1:30; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Philippians 3:12-14)
The Church
The church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit. Each believer is a member of the body of Christ and the Church is not to forsake gathering together for any reason.
Healing, Deliverance and Miracles
Deliverance from sickness and all demonic activity is provided for in the atonement and is the privilege of all believers (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17).
Miracles and healings were the works Jesus and His disciples demonstrated to confirm the good news about God’s Kingdom making its advance against the dominion of the devil. All believers today are empowered to demonstrate these works and thereby advance His Kingdom (Matthew 4:17, 23, 12:28, 28:19-20; John 9:4, 10:37; Mark 16:17-20; 1 Corinthians 12:9-10).
Resurrection
The resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation, together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord, is the imminent and blessed hope of the church (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Titus 2:12; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52; Romans 8:23).
Return of Christ & Millennial Reign
We affirm the bodily, personal, second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the saints, the millennium, and the final judgment. The final judgment will determine the eternal status of both the saints and the unbelievers, based on their relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We affirm the final state of the new heavens and the new earth.
Judgment
There will be a final judgment in which the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works. Whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life, together with the devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet, will be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death (Revelation 19:20; Revelation 20:10-15).
“We, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.” (2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21, 22).
We believe in biblical marriage
We believe in unconditional love for everyone while remaining unwavering in our loyalty to God’s Holy word. We believe that because God our Creator established marriage as a sacred institution between one man and one woman, the idea that marriage is a covenant only between one man and one woman has been the traditional definition of marriage for all of human history. Because of the longstanding importance of the Traditional Definition of Marriage to humans and their relationships and communities, and, most importantly, the fact that God has ordained that marriage be between one man and one woman, as clearly conveyed in God’s inerrant Scriptures.
We believe in two genders- male and female
We believe that God create male and female in the image of God (Genesis 1:27)
We empower women in ministry
We endorse and promote women in ministry. We empower women to fulfill the Biblical call of God on their lives. Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 2:17, Acts 18:26
We love Israel
We celebrate and embrace the Jewish culture, the God of Israel. We worship a Jewish Messiah, Jesus Christ who will return to set up His rule and reign in Jerusalem. Romans 1:16, Psalm 122:6
